Walker Parking Consultants was founded in 1965 under the name of Carl Walker & Associates, Inc. In 1982, Carl Walker sold the firm to four of the original partners who renamed the firm Walker Parking Consultants/Engineers, Inc.

Walker Parking Consultants is ranked #183 in the ENR Top 500 companies of 2009 and is the largest parking consulting firm in the United States.
